Gentlemen:

This refers to the inspection conducted by Messrs. Hunter,

Kohler end Erb of this office on February 2-6, 1976, of activi-

ties at Eig Rock Point Nuclear Plant authorized by Reactor

Operating License No. DPR-6 and to the discussion of our findings

with Mr. Hartman and others at the conclusion of the inspection.

The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas

examined during the inspection. Within these areas, tha

inspection consisted of a selective examination of procedures

and representative records, observations, and intervicvs with

personnel.

No items of noncompliance with NRC requirements were iden-

tified within the scope of this inspection.

In accordance with N ction 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of

Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a

copy of this letter and the enclocad inspectica report will

be placed in the HRC's Public Docu=ent Room, except as follows.
