The U. S. Iluclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has issued Amendment 110.14 to Facility Operating' License flo. DPR-6, issued to the Consumers Power Company (the licensee), which r-ised Technical Specifications for operation of the Big Rock Point Fsant (the facility) located in Charlevoix County, flichigan.
The amend-ment is' effective as of its date of issuance.
The amendment revised the Technical Specifications for the facility. to (1) incorporate reactor vessel pressure temperature oper-ating limits that comply with Appendix G of 10 CFR Part 50, (2) au-thorize automatic bypassing of the high condenser pressure reactor 4
trip _ anytime steam drum pressures are less than 50 psig instead of the current 350 psig reactor cool' ant pressure limit, (3) define the administrative control requirements associated with the air ejector off-gas monitoring system, (4) correct an error in chloride ion con-centration linit in the primary coolant, and (5) delete the 100-inch per minute limitatiori on winch speed during refueling operations.
The applications for the anendment comply with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Com,nission's rules and regulations.
The Commission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the 9

' Commission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendment.
Prior public notice of this amendment was not required since the amendment does not involve a significant hazards consideration.
The Commission has determined that the issuance of this amendment will not result in any significant environmental impact and that pursuant to 10 CFR 551.5(d)(4) an environmental impact statement or negative declaration and environmental impact appraisal need not be prepared in connection with issuance of this amendment.
For further details with respect to this action, see (1) the anolications for amendment dated May 30, 1975 (as supplemented by '.etter dated June 30, 1975), September 10, 1975 (as supplemented by letter dated May 25,1977), May 26,1976, April 21,1977 and May 18, 1977, (2) Amendment No. la to License No. DPR-6, and (3) the Commission's related Safety Evaluation.
