License No. DPR-6 Your letter dated April 21, 1972, proposed changes to the Technical Specifications of Provisional Operating License No. DPR-6 that would establish requirements for an inservice inspection program for the Big Rock Point reactor.
We have reviewed the proposed inservice inspection program and deter-mined that the inspection methods and inspection intervals according to the requirements of Table 9.3(a) conform to the requirements of Section XI of the ASME Boiler and Pressure vessel Code, 1971 edition.
We have concluded, considering radiation levels and accessibility, that the proposed technical specification is acceptable and that it does not present significant hazards considerations not described or implicit in the Big Rock Point Safety Analysis Report, as amended, and that there is reasonable assurance that the health and safety of the public will not be endangered.
Accordingly, pursuant to Section 50.59 of 10 CFR Part 50, the Tech-nical Specifications of Facility License No. DPR-6 are hereby changed as indicated in Attachment A to this letter. Although your Technical B. h
