ACCEPTANCE OF REVISION TO QA TOPICAL REPORT We have evaluated the proposed revision 5 to the consumers Power Company (CPC) Quality Assurance Program Topical Report CPC-1-A. We find that the revision does not degrade the quality assurance program previcusly accepted in our letter of April 21,1976 and is acceptable.
Programatic changes initiated by CPC to this topical report should be submitted to the NRC for review prior to. implementation. Organizational changes should be submitted no later than 30 days after announcement. To effectively coordinate NRC's licensing review with the activities of the Office of Inspection and Enforcement, programatic changes should not be implemented until issuance of the accepted topical revision.
Please include this letter with our letter of April 21,1976 in revision 5 to the topical report and submitt55 copies to the NRC.
