NOTICE OF DEVIATION Alabama Power Company License No. CPPR-86 Farley Based on the NRC inspection October 14-17, 1980, certain of your activities appear to deviate from your commitments to the Commission as indicated below:
Section 4.4.3 of the Farley Nuclear Plant Fire Protection Program reevalua-tion dated September 15, 1977 with Amendments I through 4 (Amendment 4 dated January 3,1979) states that the fire protection features and system installations provided at Farley will be accomplished under a Fire Protection QA Program which will be applied to the following ten areas:

Design control and procurement document control 2.
Instructions, procedures and drawings 3.
Control of purchase material, equipment and services 5
c 4.
Inspection 5.
Test and test control 6.
Inspection, test, and operating status 7.
Nonconforming items 8.
Corrective action 9.
Records 10.
Audits Contrary to the above, documentation is not available or is not easily retrievable to demonstrate that all of the fire protection construction features and system installation were accomplished under a fire protection QA program.
