Dear Mr. Jones:
The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 53 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-40 for the Fort Calhoun Station, Didt No. 1.
This amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your applications transmitted by letters dated October 4,1978, January 22, May 30, and October 9, 1979 and August 20, 1980.
Supplemental infonnation on this action was provided by letters dated July 13, August 23, Septer.ber 29, and October 18, 1978, January 8, May 23, June 6, June 29, July 9, and December 12, 1979, and January 18, February 8, May 20, August 8 and August 25, 1980.
Ssme changes were made to the proposed Technical Speci-fications with the concurrence of members of your staff.
The amendment changes the Technical Specificctions to incorporate additional fire protection requirements.
Copies of the Safety Evaluation and Notice of Issuance are also enclosed.
