Dear Mr. Jones:
We have reviewed your November 7,1980 letter concerning quality control of emergency diesel generator fuel oil. Our review indicates that the program proposed for the Fort Calhoun Station, which was submitted by letter dated May 2,1980 (in response to the January 7,1980 NRC request) as supplemented by your November 7,1980 letter (which was submitted in response to the September 17, 1980 NRC request) adequately address the staff's concerns on diesel fuel oil.
The staff, therefore, considers this generic issue, which we have designated A-15 " Quality Assurance Regardir.g Diesel Generator Fuel Oil",
to be closed for the Fort Ca'houn Station.
If you have any questions on this subject, please contact your assigned Project Manager.
