Director, TMI Program Office I would like to take this opportunity to give my position on the Draft Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement.
I think it is rf Ene utmost importance to hold public hearings which should be very well publicized in the Three Mile Island area on the environmental impact.
There has been a growing distrust of public servants as well as of the operators of the nuclear power plant, mainly because of poor and inadequate channels of communication.
In order to restore cor.fidence in the people, it is imperative to have their input on any decisions which may be made in regard to their health and safety.
