ISSUANCE OF FINAL SUPPLEMENT 3 TO THE PROGRAMMATIC ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT.- THREE fille ISLAND, UNIT 2 I am pleased to provide the Environmental Protection Agency with 5 copies of Final Supplement 3 to the Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement which--
addresses environmental considerations under the NEtional Environmental Policy Act of 1969, relating to long-term monitoring storage of the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station Unit 2 at the conclusion of defueling.
This Final Environmental Impact Statement was prepared by the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation in accordance with the statement of general policy and procedure on implementation of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as set forth in the Commission's regulations, 10 CFR Part 51.
