Dear Mr. Hukill:

E

You specifically requested the examinations be conducted between April 20 and May 8, 1981.

We will tentatively schedule the examinations for the above tire period with

}

the following provisions:

1.. '1he above exarination dates are dependent on the expected conclusion of the restart hearings. If a substantial delay (several nonths or nore) is expected for conclusion of the hearings, the exaninations will be slipped accordingly.

2.

'Ihe exrtinations will be handled in the same mnner as cold exaninations.

The written exa :inations will be administered separately frcn the oral tests and only those individuals passing the written examination will be administered an oral test.

3.

In accordance with 2. above, 3 weeks is not sufficient for administering 38 examinations. *No additional weeks will be required in Fay for a&:in-istering the orals.

4.

This examination schedule is also dependent upon required implementation at your facility of IMI-2 Action Plan ites and the resulte of the restart hearings. Ganges in the facility design, license, procechn es and training requirmonts cust be sufficiently ccrpleted and factored into the applicants training progran prior to the administration of the examinations.
