(b) Letter, D. E. Vandenburgh to NRC dated May 27, 1976; Proposed Change No. 139

Dear Sir:

Pursuant to Section 50.59 of the Commission's Rules and Regulations Yankee Atomic Electric Company hereby proposes the following Amendment to the Facility License.

PROPOSED CHANGE: Reference is made to Operating License No. DPR-3 issued to Yankee Atomic Electric Company for the Yankee Rowe Plant.

Amendment 27 to the operating license incorporated new Technical Specifications, rewritten into the Westinghouse Standard Technical Specification Format as Appendix A to this license.

At this time we wish to make a number of minor word changes and correct a number of typographical errors.

These changes are listed in Attachment A to this letter and revised pages to the Technical Specifications are also attached.

REASON FOR CHANGE: During the preparation of revised operating procedures, training of the plant staff, and trial use of the new Technical Specifications, many minor changes as de. scribed in Attachment A, were deemed necessary.

This change will provide for modifications to the Technical Specifications necessary to alleviate any items of confusion due to errors or omissions which may exist in the present document.

ff./ETY CONSIDERATIONS: This proposed change corrects several typo-graphical errors and mistakes which were incorporated into the standard Technical Specifications for Yankea Rowe. All of these changes are minor in nature and none of them change the intent or alter the bases for any Technical Specification.

This change does not endanger the health and safety of the public and has been reviewed by the Nuclear Safety Audit and Review Committee.
