Dear Mr. Saltzman:

Relative to your letter of July 7,1978 we wish to advise you that Yankee Atomic Electric Company will use a combination of cash flow and letter of credit to meet the retrospective premium requirement under the Price-Anderson Act.

The letter of credit will be for an amount which when added to Yankee's cash flow will equal $10,000,000 and will be provided by August 10, 1978.
