This amendment revises the Technical Specifications related to the ECCS

accumulator actuation time delay setting and to burnup-dependent Linear i
Hcat Generation Rates (LHGR's). This amendaent-is also based on our li finding that the additional small break analysis and the sensitivity I
analyscs of the effect of accuaulator actuation delay and core inlet taperature variation (provided in submittals dated Septeraber 21 cnd 0-:tober 7 and 11,1977) confirm the conservatism of the previous Loss-

of-Coolant Accident (LOCA) analyses for the current Cycle XIII, and are acceptable.

t-Tite amenduent also replaces page 3/4 2-10 of the Technical Specifications to correct an editorial error.
Copies of the Safety Evaluation and Notice of Issuance are also enclosed.

The amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your applications dated September 8 and October 27, 1977, with additional infonnation furnished by letter dated November 14, 1977.
This amendment revises the Technical Specifications related to the ECCS accumulator actuation time delay setting and to burnup-dependent Linear Heat Generation Rates (LHGR's).
