This refers to your request dated June 28,1963, for AEC authorization I dE to make Proposed Change No. 37 in the Technical Specifications of I-~ ~ @
Facility License No. DPR-3 pursuant to the provisions of Section 50.59, j.
10 CFR 50. The Proposed Change would authorize the installation of an J.
M additional storage rack in the Fuel Transfer Pit of the Yankee reactor.
, We have reviewed the Proposed Change and supplement thereto and have found that, subject to the ccndition that the calculated k effective is maintained less than.88 as determined by the calculational rethod described'in the application, the Proposed Change and supplement thereto do not present significant hazards consideratiens not described or implicit in the hazards summary report, and that there is reasonable assurance that the health and safety of the public vill not be endangered.

In-view of the foreEoing, Proposed Change No. -37 and. supplement thereto are hereby authorized pursuant to Section 50.59,10 CFR 50, subject to the condition that the calculated k effective is maintained less than
