n In response to your Order in Reference (b), this letter subaits the required information for the staff's review on environmental qualification of electrical equipment. This information has been prepared using the D0R guidelines an? is presentec in the attached YASC Report #1227-Rev. O.
This report contains (1) a list of the electrical equipment and displays which are available for the mitigation of a LOCA, MSLB, and FWLB, (2) identification of that equipment which is located in a hostile environment; and (3) component work sheets which sun:tarine all of the available information pertaining to the environmental qualification of the equipment required to operate in a hostile enviranment.
A central file containing all the available documentation for environmental qualification is located at the engineering offices of the Yankee Atomic Electric Company.
