DOCKET NO. 50-445 APTECH REPORT REGARDING THE BORG-WARNER CHECK VALVE SWING ARMS Gentlemen:
On December 20, 1989. TV Electric letter TXX-89860 provided additional information regarding Borg Warner check valve swing arms and stated that the final APTECH report for the swing arm study would be. completed by December 29, 1989.
TV Electric has reviewed and concurs with the final APTECH report which contains the evaluation of the Borg-Warner swing arm failure and establishes the acceptability of other Borg-Warner check valve swing arms installed in Unit 1.
The final APTECH report has been made available for NRC staff review.
