DOCKET NOS 50 445 AND 50 446 PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE CPSES PHYSICAL '6ECURITY PLAN REF: TU Electric letter from W. J. Cahill, Jr. to NRC logged TXX 89691 and dated September 15, 1989.
Gentlemen During preoperational inspections of the CPSES Security Plan, concerns regarding vital areas and vital area control in addition to communications and emergency power (see reference) were raised.
The proposed changes regarding these issues are listed on the attachment; marked up copies are provided as enclosures. The proposed change on communications supercedes the proposed change provided in the referenced letter.
The proposed change on emergency power is a restatement of the proposed change submitted in the referenced letter.
These changes, as well as a number of other corrections and clarifications, are planned to be included in Revision 7 to the Physical Security Plan, which is scheduled to be submitted after the issuance of the operating license for CPSES Unit 1.
