The proposed amendment would have added cross-connect piping from the Plant Instrurent Air System, outside Containment, to the Containment Building i
Cnrpressed Air System, inside Containment. The purpose of the proposed change was to enhance plant reliability and operational flexibility by providing a back-up air supply to the Containment Building Compressed Air System.
I The Comissicn has previously issued a Notice of Consideration of Issuance of Amendment published in the FEDERAL REGISTER on October 26, 1989 7
(54FR43634). Hewever, by letter dated November 29, 1989, the licensee withdrew the proposed change.
