Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit No. 1 Docket No. 50-334, License DPR-66 IE Inspection 80-05 Gentlemen:
Our supplemental response dated February 6, 1981 described our actions to prevent recurrence of the noncompliance identified in Inspection 80-05.
In that response, we indicated that sufficient controls over procedure issuance and use existed at that time to prevent recurrence of the incident.
We also stated t. hat the proposed " log room" concept was under review to determine the feasbility of its implementation.
In a.ccordance with your letter dated March 3, 1981, we are hereby advising you of our disposition of the " log room" method for document control.
It has been determined that the " log room" concept is not feasible for implementation at this time.
The considerable expenses and time involved for the implementation of this concept as well as the fact that the methods currently in use have been providing adequate control were the major factors in arriving at this conclusion.
Should you have any additional questions concerning this ites, do not hesitate to contact my office.
Very truly yours, i
l
