Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
This reports the status of activities that were initiated in response to IE Bulletins No. 75-04 and 75-04A.
Since the July 1, 1976 Status Report on the fire protection and suppres-sion system the following has tai n place.
- 1) The reassessment of the Safety First Halon 1301 suppression equipment for comparison with the Guidelines of the Commis-sions, May 1, 1976, Standard Review Plan 9.5.1 continued.
- 2) The Engineering Evaluation of Halon 1301 Suppression System was prepared.
It is anticipated that during the next 30 days the Engineering Evaluation of the Halen 1301 suppression system will be approved. The comparison of the Oyster Creek Station's fire protection system with the guidelines of Standard Review Plan 9.5.1 is continuing.
