Dear Mr. O'Reilly:

This reports the status of activities that were initiated in response to IE Bulletins No. 75-04 and 75-04A.

Since July 30, 1976 status report on the fire protection and suppression system the reassessment of the Safety First Halon 1301 sup-pression equipment for comparison with the Guidelines of the Commissions May 1, 1976, Standard Review Plan continued.

It is anticipated that during the next 30 days the Procurement Specification for the Halon 1301 system design requirements will be pre-pared. The comparison of the Oyster Creek Station's fire protection system with the guidelines of Standard Review Plan 9.5.1 is continuing.
