Steam Generator #22 Low Pressure Bistable meter was found out of calibration and could not be recalibrated. The meter was replaced with a spare. Signal isolator 2-E/E-1023A failed during trouble-snooting giving a constant low octput signal.

It is believed that a faulty signal from this instrument prior to reaching this ultimate state contributed to the indication deviation.

Meter failure is considered the result of aging and natural wear.

The signal isolator (Transmation Model 230IT) is to be modified to increase reliability by reolacing several parts which exhibit high rates of failure.

Facility Change Recuest 80-25 will accomplish the parts change.
