Dear Mr. Engelken:
In response to your letter dated July 28, 1976 and the enclosed IE Bulletin 76-07, we do not have the General Electric "magspeed" hoist control installed in crane controls at our Humboldt Bay Power Plant Unit No. 3.
We do not plan any modifications of the crane controls of the type described.
The brake power contactors are functionally tested as part of the routine crane certification program conducted yearly.
No other testing is planned.
