AMENDMENT N0. 1 TO FACILITY LICENSE NO. NPF FARLEY, UNIT 2 The Nuclear Regulatory Coranission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. I to :acility License No. NPF-8 for Farley Nuclear Plant, Unit No. 2.

The amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your request dated November 18, 1980, for relief from a surveillance require-ment concerning diesel generator operability prior to initial criticality.

The amendment approves the relief request and associated Technical Specifi-cation changes.

Copies of the Safety Evaluation and the Notice of Issuance are also enclosed.
