Tnank you for your letter of September 12, 1980, in response to our letter dated August 15, 1980. As a result of our review, we find that additional infonnation is needed. Specifically, with respect (1) Deviation A.3, concerning your preventive measures, please to:
identify the maximum interval between audits of the HDL considered acceptable by NPGD Quality Assurance; and (2) Deviation B, please de-scribe the measures that NPGD will implement to assure that a CVAR which results in a design change will receive the equivalent level of review and approval as the original design when the system requirements are not violated by the CVAR, (e.g. a Category 2 CVAR).
Please provide this additional infonnation within twenty (20) days in order that we may complete our review in a timely manner.
