,V UNITED STATES ATOMIC ENERGY COMMISSION DOCKET No. 50-29 YANKEE ATOMIC ELECTRIC COMPANY NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT TO FACILITY LICENSE Notice is hereby given that the U. S. Atomic Energy Commission
("the Commission") has issued Amendment No. 7 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-3 issued to Yankee Atomic Electric Company which revised Technical Specifications for operation of the Yankee-Rowe Atomic Power Plant, located in Rowe, Massachusetts. The amendment is effective as of its date of issuance.
The amendment permits changes to the Technical Specifications to upgrade the reactor protection system bypass circuitry.
The application for the amendment complies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended ("the Act"),
and the Comnission's rules and regulations and the Commission has rade appropriate findings as required by the Act, and the Commission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendment.
For further details with respect to this action, see (1) the application for amendment dated September 21, 1973, and supplements dated November 26, 1973, and February 20, 1974, (2) Amendment No. 7 to License No. DPR-3, with attachments, and (3) the Commission's related Safety Evaluation.
