The enclosed change provides surveillance requirements for a new automatic isolation valve which will return the water spray system protecting the yard transformers to autcmatic operation.
The requested change is required to make the Big Rock Point Technical Speci-fications accurately reflect the "as-built" condition of the Plant and its surveillance requirements. The modification requiring the change will be performed during the 1980 refueling outage, scheduled to commence on October 31, 1980 and to terminate on December 15, 1980. Therefore, approval of this change will be required during this period so that Plant start-up may be acccmplished with appropriate Technical Specifications.
l This change has been determined to be a Class III change pursuant to 10 CFR 170.22; a check in the amount of $4,000 is attached.
