~As of January 1, 1990, the Sacramento Municipal Utility District will withdraw its membership from the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations-(INPO).
Although this will-result in a loss of'"INP0 Accreditation", Rancho Seco
' training will continue to use a systems approach to training per 10 CFR -
55.59(c).
The~ District will be revising our procedures and Updated' Safety
' Analysis Report to reflect the change.

I The District-intends to maintain the regulatory-based o'perator training and i

operator requalification program, complying with 10 CFR 50 54(i-1), in i
accordance with guidance.provided in NUREG 1220, and the Systematic Approach to: Training (SAT) model defined in 10 CFR 55.
Prior'to any reduction in. scope 1j
'in the operator requalification program, the District will submit program changes to the'NRC for review.
