This is in response to your letter dated February 6,1981 and your con-versation with Dale Kers of my staff regarding the physical protection requirements for special nuclear material of low strategic significance possessed by The Boeing Company.

As discussed, as long as the total inventory of special nuclear material of low strategic significance does not exceed 15 grams at any one site no physical protection or security plans are required.
