In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR Part 50.59, we are enclosing 40 copies of a requested amendment to license DPR-77 to change the technical specifications of Sequoyah Nuclear Plant unit 1 (Enolosure 1). Also enclosed are justifications to support the proposed changes (Enclosure 2).
The enclosed changes consist of modifloations to the technical specifica-tions to delete reactor trip on turbine trip below 50 percent power.
In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR Part 170.22, we have deter-mined the proposed smendment to be Class III. The classifloation is based on the fact that a single safety issue is involved. The remittance of
$4,000 is being wired to the Nuolaar Regulatory Commission, Attention:
Licensing Fee Management Branch.
