Gentlemen:
During a recent telephone conversation, we discussed the availability of guidance that may be useful in the development of your program for installation and inspection of piping suspension systems.
We are enclosing copies of certain correspondence and reports of some of our inspections conducted in this area.
I am not aware of any guides or other documentation specifically on piping suspension systems that are published by the Commission. Also, as we discussed, enclosed is a copy of the March 6,1981 letter from Senator Ford to Chairman liendrie.
I hope this information will aid you in the development of your program.
We will be happy to review and comment on your program or meet with you to discuss any questions you may have regarding regulatory requirements in this area.
