In our review of your request of March 23, 1981, to allow a Technical Specification change to the containment isolation signals for the reactor coolant pump seal injection and return lines, we have determined that we need a clarification of the qualifications of the' lines
-involved. You are requested to certify that these lines are constructed to seismic category I requirements, and that the seal return lines are protected inside of containment from pipe whip damage.
