In response to your letter of March 6,1981, which requested Georgia Power Company to modify commitments regarding the BWR Scram Discharge system-long term modifications, Georgia Power Company provides the following amplification to our March 4,1981, letter:

Should the existing Technical Specifications require changes in order to accommodate plant modifications associated with the scram discharge system, it is Georgia Power Company's intent to have such prcposed changes submitted to the NRC at least 3 months prior to making such modifications operable.
