This refers to your letter of March 13, 1981, in which you provided informa-tion related to Item 5 of our Immediate Action Letter to you dated January 13, 1981. We understand that you were unable to complete before March 15, 1981, the inspection of installed safety related and seismic Class I control panels and the resolution of any noted deficiencies. We have reviewed the description contained in your March 13 letter of your plan to continue cable termination operations concurrent with your inspection and repair program. As stated by Mr. D. Ilayes of this office in a telephone conversation with Mr. T. Tramm of your staff on March 18, we concur with your plan for resumption of cable termination work.
We understand you will notify us prior to performing any weld repairs on the subject control panels.
Please inform us immediately if your understanding differs from this.
