This letter provided a status report of fire protection modifications for your Lacrosse Soiling Water Reactor and requested, per 10 CFR 50.48(d), approval to postpone the installation of the automatic water fire suppression system. Fees pursuant to 10 CFR 170.22 are applicable to this request, but were not remitted to us. We note that the ONRR staff approved your request on February 12, 1981. Based on the information provided by the ONRR staff as a result of their final review of your request, it has been determined that this request involved consideration of an issue that was administrative in nature.
