)

Docket No. 50-328 Tennessee Valley Authority

)

NUREG-0737, Item II.P.1 requires operating reactors to have available for review the design details for the Containment High Radiation Monitor by July 1, 1981. TVA will comply with this schedule and will have the unit 2 containment monitors operable before startup following the first refueling outage for unit 2.

Interim post accident containment radiation monitoring is provided for unit 2 as described in our response to NUREG-0578, Item 2.1.8b.

We consider this schedule acceptable to Sequoyah Nuclear Plant unit 2.

If you have any questions, please get in touch with D. L. Lambert at FTS 857-2581.
