Dear Mr. Keppler:
This is stimitted as Detroit Edison's final report en the Core Spray Pmp Motor Handling Carage prcblem (reported per 50.55(e) require.~ents).
The problem was originally reported to Mr. H.S. Phillips of the NRC-Region III by Detroit Ediscn's Mr. H.A. Walker, Supervisor-Ccnstruction Quality Assurance en February 23, 1979. It was reported this cutor was dropped on January 30, 1979, while it was being loaded cnto a trailer.
There was possible darage to the upper rain shaft hearing.
General Electric doc =nntation on the repairs of the retor has new been ccrpleted. The motor is presently on site awaiting installation.
