BOARD NOTIFICATION - BROOKHAVEN REPORT CONCERNING HYDROGEN COMBUSTION DATED JAN. 15,1981(BN81-03)
We are fomarding the following document for your information:
Memorandum, D. F. Ross, Jr. to D. G. Eisenhut March 2,1981, with Brookhaven National Laboratory report, "Some Very Preliminary Results of a Short-Tenn Analysis (3 week study) of Hydrogen Combustion During Degraded Core Accidents in the Sequoyah Nuclear Power Plant in the Presence of Glow Plugs". January 15, 1981.
In the course of preparing for the McGuire hearing we have identified the subject report as being relevant information to the McGu e Board. Although we have not completed staff appraisal and evaluation of the report, we believe that since the McGuire hearing is underway, we should fomard the basic data without delay. We will provide you with our evaluation shortly by separate memorandum.
