Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
This is to confirm my conversation with Mr. Sternberg of your office on November 5, 1975 regarding the receipt of a spent fuel cask with smearable contamination in excess of the limits specified in 10 CFR 20.205. The cask was from Nuclear Fuel Services and arrived on site on November 4, 1975.
2 One of twelve smears exceeded the 22,000 dpm/100 cm reporting 2
requirement. The maximum observed smear was 25,107 dpm/100 cm,
