Your response to IE Bulletins 77-05 and 77-05A This refers to an inquiry conducted on February 10, 1978 at your Berlin, Connecticut office by Mr. R. Smith of this office regarding your response letters dated December 8,1977 and January 13, 1978.
During discussions with Mr. J. Kufel, Superintendent of Nuclear Production and Mr. L. Davidson, Generation Electrical Engineer of your staff, further information was provided that the terminal blocks were not considered as electrical connectors (of the type addressed by the Bulletins) in your response dated December 8,1977.
In accordance with Section 2.791 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice,"
Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the Public Document Room.
