Use of ASME Code Case N-295 and N-292 on Byron and Braidwood Stations This is in response to your request for authorization to apply ASME Code Case N-295, "Section III, Division 1 Construction, Use of Previously Produced Material,"
and N-292, "Section III, Division 1 Construction, Depositing Weld Metal Prior to Preparing Ends for Welding," on Byron and Braidwood Stations.
The staff,has completed its review of these codes and find them acceptable for use in the construction of the Byron and Braidwood plants. Please document the use of these code cases in an amendment to your FSAR.
