May 14, 1981 MEMORANDUM AND ORD,ER Dr. Jordan has calculated the dose in rads to a thyroid containing 1 micro-curie of iodine-131 per gram of tissue, using what he believes to be standard accepted calculations.
The calculation is set forth on the attached page, which was bound into the record of the hcaring on May 14, 1981.
The board proposes to take official notice of and apply the attached l
calculation in evaluating the discrepancies between the testi-l monies of ECNP's witness, Dr. Molholt, and the staff's witness, l
Mr. Peterson.
Parties with an interest in the subject matter may file, l
