Staff Interim Position By your letters of February 3,1981 and December 22, 1980, the due date for implementation of the " Interim Position" recuirements is May 15, 1981, and the due dates for the six (6) and nine (9) month reports are June 22 and Septerber 22, 1981 respectively. Due to adminis-trative difficulties which have been aggravated to a large degree by our current maintance outage, it appears that the evaluation of our degree of (xxpliance as well as the inplementation of these requirements will not be completed by the above dates.
Faced with this inevitability, JCP&L is contracting with a consulting firm experienced with the requirenents of NUREG 0612 to assist in the implenentation of the interim position and preparation of the six (6) and nine (9) nonth reports. The current schedule reflects the full implerentation of the interim position and carpletion of the 6 nonth report by September 11, 1981 with the 9 month report to be subuitted by Decarber 11, 1981. This new schedule rtill insures that the interim position will be impleuented prior to our refueling outage in Noverber of this year.
