This letter consututes our response to tne subject inspection report. It is our opinion that nothing in the report or in this letter is of a proprietary nature. '

Our response to the item of noncompliance cited in Appendix "A" of the report is as follows:

1. Corrective A_ction Taken and Results Achieved _ ,

Weld HP-16 The weld package which identified Line fi-HP-03-A 14 and the radiographic report as HP-08-C3 has been reviewed and the PSK checked to verify that the proper line number is 1-HP-08-C3.

The film package has been changed to represent the proper number. .

Weld FC-46-B The June,1980 radiograph has been reviewed, the repair area verified during the review and the "R-1" etched on the film to reflect the fact that the film included the repaired area.

. Weld HP-15 Following the repair of the three (3) areas, the entire weld has been re-shot. The second radiograph was performed with

five (5) re-shots measuring the circumference of the "R-1" pipe. Although all five areas are identified as shots, the repaired areas are not identified as such.
