Our response dated March 18, 1981 to the subject Inspection Report stated that full compliance would be achieved by April 30, 1981. Full compliance was to consist of a review of all radiograph packages of Henry J. Kaiser Company welds to verify that problems similar to those identified by the inspector do not exist in other packages already accepted.

As a result of our efforts to implement the corrective actions required by your April 8,1981 Immediate Action Letter, we are unable to meet the above commitment and will require an extension to June 1, 1981.

We trust that this request for extension will be found acceptable.
