i OAK RIDGE NATIONAL LABORATORY MONTHLY REPORT March 1981 A. Status of Environmental Reviews Allens Creek - J. B. Cannon, Project Manager The staff completed the giving of required oral testimony at the ASLB hearings. The hearings are expected to reopen ~in May 1981.

San Onofre Units 2 and 3 - R. M. Rush, Project Manager The staff has completed the necessary added assessment for the PFES and it is presently under review by the EPM (Dino Scalletti).

Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station - N. E. Hinkle, Project Manager No appreciable activity. The staff is awaiting issuance of the FES.

B. Support Group Activities Environmental Fluid Dynamics Group No activity.

C. Budget Project costs are reported in the attached tables.

D. Remarks Because of the high level of activity required at the Allens Creek hearings, the staff cost has over-run the authorized funds. William Regan has been notified and has agreed to authorize the necessary further funding.
