Dear Mr. Ippolito:
As committed to in our letter of December 2, 1980, Serial No. NO-80-1780, Carolina Power & Light Company (CP&L) is herewith trans-mitting Report On Site Test Voltage Study for the Brunswick Steam Electric i
Plant (BSEP) Unit Nos. 1 and 2 to follow up Item 5 from our July 24, 1980 letter.
An on-site test was performed to obtain distribution system voltage data which could be used to compare with our Architect-Engineer's (A-E) distribution system analyses results such that the analyses methodology could be validated. The attached report provides this data comparison and results. The results show that all test volt-ages closely approach the analytical voltages of the A-E's " VOLTS" program. Any variations between the test voltage and the analytical voltage were within the instrumentation error of the recording instruments.
If you have any further questions on this matter, please contact our staff.
Yours very truly, E. E. Utley Executive Vice President Power Supply and Engineering & Construction l
