OF MEETINGS ON THE CONFIRMATORY PIPING ANALYSES i.

FOR CALLAWAY AND WOLF CREEK On February 11-13, 1981, the NRC and their consultants from Pacific Northwest Laboratory (PNL) met with representatives from SNUPPS, Union Electric, Kansas Gas & Electric, and Bechtel (Gaithersburg) to discuss the confirmatory piping analysis to be performed by the Mechanical Engineering Branch. Three separate meetings were held and are discussed below.

February 11, 1981 - A meeting was held at the Bechtel (Gaithersburg) office with representatives from Union Electric, SNUPPS, and Bechtel. The purpose

- was (1) to obtain the necessary information and design drawings to begin the piping analysis for both Wolf Creek and Callaway, and (2) to view the model of.the standard plant design to better acquaint the PNL reviewers to the

The ECCS injection.line from the accumulator to the. Reactor Coolant Loop "A" has been selected for the confirmatory' analysis of both plants.

In addition, the cold leg of the reactor coolant loop will be included in the confirmatory analysis. The design information for the reactor coolant loop was made available by Westinghouse althot3h we were not allowed to keep it.
