Dear Sirs:

Pursuant to Section 50-59 of the Commission's Regulations, Yankee Atomic Electric Company hereby request to make the following change:

PROPOSED CHANCE: Reference is made to the AEC letter dated September 28, 1972 relative to Administrative Controls Section of the Technical Specification. We propose the following:

" Incorporate the attached Sections 5.3 Action to be taken in the event of an Abnormal Occur-rence in Plant Operation and 5.7 Plant Report-ing Requirements to the present plant Technical Specifications."

Reason for Change: As per your letter dated September 28, 1972, Yankee submits the proposed Technical Specifications that are currently being implemented at the plant.

Safety Consideration:

In our opinion the proposed change does not present significant hazard considerations not described or implicit in the license application as amended.
