Subject:

Alarm and Control Circuitry for Emergency Diesel Generators Reference (2) requested that Yankee provide information relative to the alarm and control circuitry of the emergency diesel generators at the Yankee Rowe Plant. Reference (3) provided the information requested.

Since that time discussion with your staff as welJ as our own review have indicated the need for a point of clarification.

The annunciator system for the Emergency Dies-Generator System utilizes several annunciator windows which are common for the No. 1, 2 and 3 diesel generators. Yankee has verified that all shared annunci-ators for disabling conditions cannot be cleared in the control room until all abnormal conditions are corrected.
